Ms. Johnson heads our office in Tennessee, USA, and manages client relations and business development in the US, Canada and the Caribbean.
Her expertise is in setting up, operating and managing ventures in conflict zones and high-risk territories. From 2000 to 2003 Ms Johnson was based in Skopje and Pristina managing procurement operations in support of the IFIs and UN Agencies in the Balkans conflict.
From 2003 to 2005 she managed logistics and procurement in support of the UN and UNAMA in Afghanistan. In 2005 Ms Johnson was promoted as Country Manager of our specialist procurement arm and posted to Juba in South Sudan, where she supported UN operations in Darfur, South Sudan and Port Sudan. She was also responsible for our company being awarded the first Air operating license (AOL no.1) in South Sudan. From 2007 to 2011 Ms. Johnson headed operations in Kabul supporting the UN and VSAID. There she managed over 40 expat staff, 10 third country nationals and over 200 local staff. Since then she has continued to be our trouble shooter in hostile and demanding environments that call for cool, calm and discrete action.
